Case Study: Corrections Custom Load Bearing Vest
A corrections customer approached us wanting a highly customised load bearing vest with stab protection, an in-built Axon body worn camera mount and load carriage for a very large array of items - 10 chemical munitions of various sizes, a radio and utility pouch for notepad and gloves. All at relatively low volume.
The Solution
We created a custom variant of our 8600 Series Enhanced Load Bearing Vest featuring:
- Custom made integral, sewn-on Axon body worn camera mount
- 6 MOLLE mount pouches of various sizes
- Elasticised chemical munition holders in the vest's internal pocket, tailored to the individual munition sizes
- Addition of rear MOLLE webbing
- Deletion of un-needed front loop tape and ID window
- Male and female sizes
The production vests were made by us, in Australia.
Custom Internal Holders
We created a custom, elasticised munition holder in the vest's internal pocket, tailored to the dimensions of the individual items to be carried. For quick and easy access, the pocket opens from both sides.
