The 8300 series armour carrier is designed to be used as either a stab proof vest or ballistic vest, depending on the armour option selected. It blends in with your uniform and maintains a discreet professional look.
The Hellweg 8300 series armour carrier was designed for use where protection is required, but with subtlety and a professional look. Examples include hospital security, paramedics, shopping centres and corporate security.
The 8300 armour carrier can be fitted with ballistic armour, full coverage stab armour, or limited coverage, lightweight stab armour. It comes standard with a front, centre body worn camera mount. It comes in unisex sizing, with short, regular, long and extra long lengths.
Like all Hellweg vests, there are plenty of customisation options, including corporate branding, role identification labels, ID windows and limited coverage loop tape.
Features
Excellent Thermal Management
The 8300 series armour carrier is lined with ribbed spacer mesh for comfort. Not only is it soft, it allows for convective and evaporative cooling between your body and armour panels.
Body Worn Camera Mount
The vest comes standard with a 50mm body worn camera mount on the front center. This can be replaced with other styles of body worn camera mount, for example a sewn on Klickfast mount, or deleted altogether.
Adjustable Fit
70mm of size adjustment at the shoulders and 200mm at the waist gives plenty of adjustability.
Waterproof Garment Fabric
The vest's outer fabric is hard wearing and waterproof, so dirt and debris can be easily cleaned off.

Colours
The 8300 series armour carrier can be made in black and navy with no MOQ.
For quantities over 500 vests, we can make them in completely custom colours.
Custom Labels and Badges
We can provide front and rear labels with whatever text or logo you require, in a wide range of colours and finishes.
Labels can be sewn on to the garment or attached by hook and loop.
We can also supply corporate/department logo embroidered badges.
Coverable ID Window
For settings such as mental health facilities, where wearers may want to hide their identity from time to time, we offer a coverable ID window option. This eliminates the issue of lost IDs.
Minimal Loop Tape
Where cleanliness is a priority, such as in hospital or paramedic settings, exposed loop tape cab be minimised.
